The DSW is a shell chair with a white plastic seat shell that forms an organic, ergonomically shaped seating surface. The shell rises toward the back, providing a slight backrest. Four wooden legs in a light natural finish, angled outward, support the structure. Between the shell and the legs runs a black wire frame made of thin metal struts, which connects the legs and supports the shell. The construction remains visible from all sides.
The dimensions are 47 cm width, 55 cm depth and 83 cm overall height. The seat height is therefore within the range of common conference chairs and suits tables with a standard height of 72 to 76 cm. The shell offers enough seating area for longer meetings without requiring upholstery. The angled legs give the chair a stable base.
The smooth surface of the plastic shell can be wiped down with a damp cloth. This makes the chair suitable for events with changing guests, where quick cleaning is needed between sessions. The open wire construction allows several chairs to be placed side by side without appearing visually heavy. The light wood color and the white shell keep the overall look light.
