The DSW Eames Plastic Chair combines a curved plastic shell with a maple frame. The shell is molded in one piece, covers the seat and backrest, and comes in Ocean, a muted petrol green. Four angled wooden legs support the shell over a wire-brace frame of black metal, which both stabilizes the chair and distributes the load.
The organic shape of the shell follows the body, and the backrest sweeps back. The wooden legs are spread wide and give the chair a stable footing. The wire braces run visibly beneath the shell and contribute to the chair's appearance.
