The Varithek buffet system from Rieber is a mobile warming system for professional catering. The enclosed black body holds three recessed stainless steel wells, which are heated through a power connection. Above them sits a glass top with a stainless steel frame and integrated lighting, which makes the food visible and protects it from drafts.
The system rolls on four swivel casters and can be positioned directly at the buffet location. The visible CEE plug (red heavy-duty power connection) supplies the heating and lighting. The wells accept Gastronorm containers; the exact size is not listed, though GN 1/1 or GN 2/3 are common.
The glass top keeps heat in the buffet and lights the food from above. This makes self-service easier and makes the offering visible from a distance. The enclosed design protects the technical components and gives the system a tidy appearance.
This buffet system is well suited for meetings with a warm lunch buffet, for evening events with self-service, or for catering in trade show halls and convention centers. We deliver nationwide, with matching dishware, flatware and additional catering equipment, setup and pickup available on request.
